school holiday activities

We know how fun it is to play with flowers because we get to do it everyday so we thought we’d give kids the opportunity to come in with their parents during the school holidays and make a little fresh flower jar posy. Each jar is $15 to make (or two for $25) and we’ll have a little area set aside for kids to choose their jar, their bundle of flowers and their foliage, then spend time arranging them. Our local growers are starting to produce some beautiful spring flowers now so it’s a great way to be able to support them.
The other two activities are making a potions jar with dried petals and leaves and making a wand, both $5 each. We’ll run the activities as drop in sessions while the shop’s open 9.30am-4.30pm weekdays and 10am-1pm on Saturdays with children to be accompanied by their parents. No bookings necessary. Covered footwear is essential though (no jandals or barefeet).
