Autumn provides an abundance of berries. It’s a good time to be thinking of what can be picked and put aside for Xmas wreaths.

With firethorn don’t forget to wear gloves and watch out for its sneaky thorns. Because it’s branches can also stick out and catch you unawares I’d also suggest wearing safety glasses.

Corokia with its red, burdundy and yellow berries also looks stunning dried and we’re experimenting with cotoneaster too.
